We would like to share our scheme for new facilities we will shortly be building at Riverside House. Please see the attached document. Riverside House Planning Application by Lloyd Stacey
The facilities will consist of three shipping containers, two jointed together and one free standing, that will provide kitchen and dining facilities and an activity/meeting space. the containers will ensure security at this tentative stage, but will be progressive in design and function as well as looking great. The facilities will be accompanied by a waterless toilet and a bicycle shed. They will be on a low impact permeable base, will have decking linking the buildings and a green roof. Fencing will secure the site and hoarding will protect the heritage buildings whilst longer term capital funding is sought. The scheme will compliment the industrial nature of the site as well as neighbouring architecture. We have also compiled a report on how an ongoing public consultation process has informed our planning decisions Riverside House Public Consultation
Thanks to the generosity of national and regional grant funders, much of the cost for the implementation of this scheme has been acquired. We will shortly be submitting a planning application to Dudley MBC.
